Summary

Performs a variety of administrative functions to include payroll, recruitment, human resources support. Screens calls, provides information. Generates reports, assist with multiple projects as needed. Establishes work procedure and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations. Responsible for ensuring compliance with established company standards. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Maintains accurate records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in processing new hire paperwork and badging.
  • Performs a variety of specialized administrative support functions that require a thorough knowledge of the terminology, procedures and practices for their functional area, with a significant degree of independence and accountability for results.
  • Receives and screens telephone calls, providing information regarding operations and departmental functions that require the use of judgment, tact and sensitivity and the interrelations of policies, rules and procedures.

  • Skillfully handles complaints and inquiries.

  • Verifies accuracy of time sheets, Prepares requisitions and purchase orders.

  • Follows all safety rules. Observes and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to their manager or proper authority.

  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs or airline activity.

  • Ensure compliance with dnata, TSA and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and policies.

  • Is able to meet Station’s attendance standards.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrates ability to work with others and interact appropriately.

  • Able to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods.

  • Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with employees and their questions.

  • Maintains communication with other managers. Relate information regarding or situations that may affect operations

  • Proficient Computer skills
